“Tree Day” for pupils of educational institutions was held in Aznakayevskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan
Employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aznakayevskiy Forest District” and State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aznakayevskiy Forestry Enterprise” held a “Tree Day” for ninth grade pupils of the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution “Secondary school No. 9” and the “Gymnasium of Aznakaevo town”. During the event, schoolchildren examined the administrative building and the forestry museum. The tour was led by the Forester Elvir Khazeyev. He spoke in detail about the forest industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the work being carried out to preserve and enhance forest resources.
After that, the schoolchildren visited a forest nursery, where they took part in planting linden saplings on the territory of the “school department”. A total of 1.5 thousand seedlings were planted.
“I enjoyed the event very much. It was interesting to learn about forestry and plant a tree with my own hands, Albina Zakirova shared her impressions. - It's nice to know that after a while the tree will be transplanted to some Aznakayevo park and please the eyes of those around”.
