A Ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today a ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the course of execution of instructions was discussed, as well as tasks for the future were set. The event was attended by deputy ministers, heads and specialists of departments of the Ministry.
The meeting participants reported to the Minister about the work being carried out to prevent and detect violations of forest legislation, ensure fire safety in forests, develop the calculated cutting area, clean up the forest fund area, supply wood to enterprises of the republic, etc.
In particular, the Minister was told that the selection of school forest districts, which will take part in the 3rd Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, was completed. The list of participants will be formed by June 1 of this year. Preparations have begun for this event at the Ministry - the first meeting of the organizing committee was held last week.
After listening to the reports, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, instructed to strengthen the vocational guidance in general education institutions. “We and local specialists should attend more schools, talk about forestry and find guys interested in this area”, the Minister said. “Moreover, measures are being developed in the republic to support young specialists in the forest industry”.
