Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov assessed the quality of work performed in the forest fund of Menzelinskiy Forest District
Today, Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rais Gumerov, paid a working visit to Menzelinskiy municipal district. When inspecting the objects, he was accompanied by the Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinskiy Forest District” Ilnar Akhmetgaliyev and the Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinskiy Forestry Enterprise” Aidar Khaliullin.
Upon arrival, Rais Gumerov familiarized himself with the harvesting of illiquid wood in the forest fund of the Yurtovskiy district forestry near the children's recreation camp “Solnyshko”. “The cleaning of dry trees, deadwood and debris is in full swing”, Ilnar Akhmetgaliyev noted. “The camp will open on June 17th, until then the entire territory within a radius of 500 meters will be cleared”.
After that, the Deputy Minister assessed the quality of spring forestry work done and the laying of fire-fighting mineralized belts on the territory of the Yurtovskiy and Menzelinskiy district forestries. He was told that this year works on reforestation and afforestation on the area of 152 hectares and sowing seeds in forest nurseries per 1 hectare were performed here. 30 km of new belts were created and maintenance of existing barriers with a total length of 320 km was performed.
Along with this, Rais Gumerov inspected a forest nursery, comfortable resting places in the Menzelinskiy district forest range and areas of forest crops damaged by wild ungulates.
