The second rotation of coniferous seeds was sowed in the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. A total of 3.5 million seeds of pine seeds and 0.5 million pieces of larch seeds were sown.

“According to the technology, firstly seedlings are grown in greenhouses, and then brought to the fields of growing”, said the Director of the Center, Ruslan Gazizov. - Now seedlings of the first rotation are gaining strength in the fields - 3 million fir-trees and 1 million pine trees. 4 people watch them every day, including Forester Musa Mingrayev. The condition of the seedlings is assessed as good”.

The production capacity of the Forest Selection and Seed Production Center of the Republic of Tatarstan is 12 million pieces of planting material with closed root system per year. Such a number of seedlings are grown here for three rotations.
