Selection of participants of the 3rd Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan is completed in the districts of the republic
The districts of the republic summed up the results of the contests “The best school forestry of municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Their winners will take part in the III Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will be held from July 29 to July 31, 2019 on the basis of the State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution “Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College”.
31 teams will compete for the title of the strongest; the total number of participants will be more than 120 people. It is expected that the entire gathering will bring together over 200 people. During the competition, the contestants will have to demonstrate knowledge of the forest and its inhabitants, teamwork skills, orienteering in the forest, overcoming obstacles, taxation and extinguishing forest fires. Also within the framework of the rally, various contests, master classes, quests, the conference “The Future of the Forests of Tatarstan is in our hands”, etc. will be held.
The meeting of school forest districts of the Republic of Tatarstan is held by the Ministry in order to attract children and young people to research and environmental activities. The rally was held for the first time in 2010 in Leskhoz village of Sabinskiy district, the second - in 2018 in Lubyany village of Kukmorskiy district.
