Clean Forests of Tatarstan environmental campaign continues in the republic
Clean Forests of Tatarstan environmental campaign continues in the republic. Let us recall that it started on April 22 of this year.
Within the framework of the campaign, the territory of forest fund in municipal districts is being cleared from municipal solid waste, deadwood and felts. Specialists of institutions, enterprises, organizations, ecological associations, students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, and volunteers take part in the work of cleaning the forest. According to the results of the campaign, as of June 5, more than 3.5 thousand cubic meters of household waste, deadwood and fallen trees were gathered and removed from the forest fund.
Let us note that the republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” has been held by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2010. Its main goal is to create a favorable sanitary-ecological situation and foster respect for the forest.
