Creation of a remote monitoring system for the state of natural resources in the Volga Federal District was discussed in the videoconference meeting

On June 4th of this year, a regular meeting in the mode of videoconference of the Interdepartmental Working Group on creation and improvement of an integrated system of remote monitoring of the state of natural resources and objects of major socio-economic importance in the Volga Federal District was held in Nizhny Novgorod.

The meeting was attended by representatives of regional and federal authorities and relevant departments, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief Federal Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Fayaz Shakirov and others.

The meeting participants, under the guidance of the Assistant Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, Ekaterina Karutina, discussed the main tasks and problems of control and supervisory activities at the facilities of the forest fund, forestry and agriculture, at places of waste collection and disposal, quarries and dumps.

Following the meeting, the heads of thematic subgroups of the Interdepartmental Working Group were approved.
