Experts of SBI of RT “Bugulminskiy Forestry Enterprise” grow planting material in greenhouses. “We have only 4 greenhouses, this year we sowed birch seeds in early May,” said the Director of the forestry enterprise, Sagid Abdullin. - Now shoots have appeared, we water future seedlings 2 times a day, maintain the temperature at 25 degrees and fight with weeds. We recently sprayed plants against diseases, and by the end of June we plan to introduce mineral fertilizers”.
According to Sagid Abdullin, in this way birch seedlings are grown in one season. “In the end of August - the beginning of September, we will be able to transplant them into the forest fund”, he noted.
It is worth noting that planting material is also grown in greenhouses by workers of the Arskiy, Alkeyevskiy, Isleitarskiy, Kamskiy, Mamadyshskiy and Kzyl-Yulduzskiy forestry enterprises.
