A Meeting-Competition of School Forest Districts took place in Nurlatskiy district of the republic
At the end of last week, a Regional Meeting-Competition of School Forest Districts was held on the basis of the Chulpanovskiy district forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatskiy Forest District”. The event was greeted by the Head-Forester, Rustem Galeyev, and the Methodologist of the Municipal Educational Institution “Department of Education” of Nurlatskiy municipal district, Olga Tarasova.
24 people from 6 school forest districts took part in the Meeting-Competition. The contestants told about themselves and their activities, demonstrated their knowledge in the field of geography, ecology, nature management, and also carried out a number of practical tasks. For example to determine the age of the tree, the horizon without devices, etc.
According to the results of the competition, the school forestry “Young Foresters” was awarded the first place. The second place was taken by the “Green Patrol” and “Ak Kaen” associations, the third - “Junior Forester”, “Greens” and “Rostok”.
