Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Cheremshanskiy Forestry Enterprise” caring for crops in forest nursery
Employees of the SBI of RT “Cheremshanskiy Forestry Enterprise” take care of crops in the forest nursery, located near the Lashmanka village of Cheremshanskiy municipal district. “This is our new nursery, the land for it has been allocated by the district administration this year. At the end of April, we sowed seeds of spruce, Siberian pine and Siberian larch here”, said Nikolai Kvakov, Director of the forestry enterprise. “The seeds have grown well, we put them on wooden boards and now weed the rows. Along with this, we are preparing plots for sowing next year. Recently we have built a small house for the rest of workers”.
According to Nikolai Kvakov, it is planned to plant coniferous trees, including blue spruce in 2020.
Totally in the Republic of Tatarstan, the sowing of seeds in forest nurseries was carried out on the area of 22 hectares.
