The third rotation conifer seeds have been sown in the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. A total of 4 million seeds of pine were sown.
“20 people were involved in the work, and they coped with the work in 12 days”, said Ruslan Gazizov, Director of the Center. - Now seedlings of the first and second rotation are gaining strength in the fields. Thus, we have fulfilled the plan for sowing for the current year, now we need to do everything possible to grow the planting material”.
Let us recall that the production capacity of FSSC of RT is 12 million seedlings with closed root system per year. Within the first and second rotation, 3 million spruce seeds, 4.5 million pine trees and 0.5 million larch trees were sown here.
