On July 4, a regional stage of the “Logger-2019” Championship will be launched in Mamadyshskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan
From July 4 to July 5, 2019, a regional stage of the “Logger-2019” Championship among forest fellers with gas-powered saws, harvester drivers and forwarders will be held in Mamadysh town of Mamadyshskiy municipal district. The competition will be attended by more than 100 people - specialists from forestry enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College.
During the competition, forest fellers will have to complete in a number of tasks such as felling the tree, replacing the chainsaw chain, bucking the log with a combined cut, bucking accuracy, cutting the branches and the baton. Harvester machinists will demonstrate their skills in assembling and disassembling the saw apparatus, cutting the log for speed, felling the tree, and forwarders operators – in loading logs, maneuvering, unloading and sorting.
The event will include cultural and entertainment program with participation of creative teams of the republic. There will also be a master class on sawing one-piece chains from logs.
The winners of the regional stage will represent the Republic of Tatarstan at the VII Championship of Russia among forest fellers “Logger-2019”.
