The regional stage of “Logger – 2019” Championship was launched in Mamadyshskiy district of Tatarstan
Today, the regional stage of the “Logger-2019” championship among forest loggers with gasoline-powered saws, harvester and forwarder drivers was launched on the basis of the Stadium-Hippodrome in Mamadysh town of Mamadyshskiy municipal district.
The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, the Head of the municipal district, Anatoly Ivanov, and the General Director of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises, Timur Irtuganov, welcomed the guests and participants of the competition.
“In a short time this championship has become a unique and bright event for the Republic of Tatarstan. Each of us is looking forward to the start of this spectacular and beautiful competition among forest industry professionals, - said Ravil Kuzyurov, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. - This year the competitions are held as part of the Year of Workers in the Republic of Tatarstan”.
“We are certainly proud of our lumberjacks, who for four years in a row - from 2015 to 2018 - occupied the first places in the team event in the Russian Championship “Logger”, the Minister added. - I hope we can continue to keep this bar. I sincerely wish good luck to the participants of the competition, as well as excellent mood and unforgettable impressions – to the guests! Let the best man win”.
Anatoly Ivanov, in his welcoming speech, noted that such an event was held in Mamadyshskiy municipal district for the first time. “We are grateful for the confidence, - he stressed. - I consider it necessary to hold such competitions. The regional stage of the “Logger” championship is not only a competitive area, it is a place for exchanging experience and improving qualifications”.
“We were very pleased when 6 years ago for the first time the Tatarstan team arrived at the Russian Championship among forest fellers. Then representatives of the republic took no prizes, said Timur Irtuganov, welcoming the participants. - But now Tatarstan is the undisputed leader. This is confirmed by the results of the last four Russian championships, where the team of the republic took the first places, as well as the world record in 2015, repeated by one of the fellers of Tatarstan, and the best referee brigade in Russia. I sincerely wish good luck to all participants of the competition”.
The opening ceremony was followed by a master class on manufacturing of one-piece chain. Vladimir Bogdanov, a demonstrator trainer at Husqvarna LLC, a participant of the TV show “I Can!” sawed out a chain of seven links.
After sawing out the chain, the start was given to the regional stage of the “Logger” championship. Minister Ravil Kuzyurov, Head of the district Anatoly Ivanov and General Director of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises, Timur Irtuganov familiarized themselves with the course of the competition. Clarifications were given by Aleksandr Goncharov, Head of the Husqvarna department of professional equipment, coach of the national team of forest workers of the RF.
This year, more than 100 people - specialists from forestry enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan and Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College take part in the regional stage of the “Logger” championship. Competitions will be held 2 days. The program of competitions includes the execution of tasks for felling the tree, replacing the chain of chainsaws, bucking the logs with a combined cut, cutting the branches and passing the “relay race”. Harvester machinists compete in assembling and disassembling a saw apparatus, log bucking for a speed, felling a tree, and forwarders' operators - in loading logs, maneuvering, unloading and sorting.
The results of the regional stage of the “Logger” championship will be summed up tomorrow, on July 5.
