A team from the Sverdlovsk Region will take part in the Third Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan
From July 29 to July 31, 2019, the Third Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held in the premises of the State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution “Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College”. School forest district “Lesnoy Dozor” of Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution “General Education School of Filkino village” in the Serov district of the Sverdlovsk Region will take part in the competition.
“Our school forestry was organized 3 years ago, said the Forest Master of the State Public Institution of the Sverdlovsk Region “Serkovskiy Forest District”, curator of the association Svetlana Novoselova. - By the way, I myself studied at Lubyanskiy College. I heard that this year you will hold a meeting, I told the children about it, and they were eager to go. We are very active, we attend various industry seminars, participated in a profile session for members of the “Lesnoi podrost” school forest districts, a meeting in the Tyumen Region, an expedition on Baikal Lake. Now, as they say, we are going to get experience in the Republic of Tatarstan”.
More than 120 people from 31 school forest districts will take part in the III Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is expected that the entire gathering will bring together over 200 people. During the competition, the contestants will have to demonstrate knowledge of the forest and its inhabitants, teamwork skills, orienteering in the forest, overcoming obstacles, taxation and extinguishing forest fires.
