The fire season continues in forests of Tatarstan. Let us recall that it started on April 15 of this year.
“The most dangerous months for us are May and June”, said the Head of the Department of State Control and Supervision of the Ministry, Airat Akhmerov. - Fortunately, they passed for us without incident, especially June, which was very hot. Favorable weather has now been established, but we are not losing control”.
According to Airat Akhmerov, in total since the beginning of the fire-dangerous season, 590 cases of fires were recorded in the territories bordering the forest fund with a total area of 354.7 hectares. The State Forest Inspectors issued more than 1.3 thousand warnings on inadmissibility of violating fire safety requirements and issued 30 decisions for violating the rules totaling 356.5 thousand rubles.
According to the rules of fire safety, it is prohibited in the forests:
1) to make fires in coniferous youngsters, on burns, in areas of damaged forest, peatlands, in places of logging (in cutting areas) that are not cleared of logging residues and harvested wood, in places with dried grass, and also under tree crowns;
2) to throw burning matches, cigarette butts and hot ashes from smoking pipes, glass (glass bottles, cans, etc.);
3) to use when hunting, wads of combustible or smoldering materials;
4) to leave materials (paper, cloth, tow, wool, etc.) oiled or impregnated with gasoline, kerosene or other combustible substances in places not provided for this purpose;
5) to refuel fuel tanks of internal combustion engines when the engine is running, use machines with a faulty engine power supply system, and also smoke or use open fire in the vicinity of vehicles filled with fuel;
6) to litter the forest with household, construction, industrial and other waste and garbage.
Violation of fire safety rules in forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles.
