Students of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of KSAU undergo practical training
Students of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of the Kazan State Agrarian University undergo practical training. Recently, second-year students of the specialty “Forestry” visited Matyushinskiy forestry of Prigorodnyi forest district. Under the guidance of experienced mentors - university lecturers, they familiarized themselves with the main tree and shrub species growing in the forest area, and also assessed the degree of anthropogenic, technological and recreational load on the forest.
Along with this, students of this direction are engaged in vegetative reproduction of tree-shrub vegetation on the basis of the faculty greenhouses (through “green cuttings” of introduced species).
Let us recall that the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of KSAU is receiving documents for admission in 2019. Under the Bachelor degree program, the students are admitted for the specialty “Forestry”, “Landscape Architecture” and “Ecology and Nature Management”, under the Master degree program - for the specialty “Forestry”. Applicants can enter the university both by results of the state unified exam, and results of entrance examinations conducted by the university. Full-time and distance learning is provided.
