A ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, a ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry at which the course of execution of protocol instructions was discussed. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov. It was attended by the Deputy Minister, Administrative Officer, heads and specialists of the departments of the Ministry.
In the course of the meeting, issues of state forest supervision, sanitary and recreational measures, the development of the allowable cutting area, wood supply to enterprises of the republic, identification of areas for laying water protection forest plantations, etc. were considered.
After listening to the reports, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, instructed the staff to pay special attention to the development of the geographic information system of the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and strengthen control over the prevention and detection of violations of forest legislation. “Our state forest inspectors must ensure compliance with the requirements of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation and other regulatory acts, including users of forest areas, the Minister said. - It concerns cleaning the cutting areas from logging residues, carrying out compensatory reforestation and other equally important issues”.
