The Ministry discussed the preparation for the 3rd Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed issues of preparation for the 3rd Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilgizar Zaripov. It was attended by Elmira Shagayeva, Administrative Officer of the Ministry, Rim Fakhraziyev, Director of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College, Aidar Gaifullin, Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”, heads and specialists of the departments of the Ministry.
The meeting participants discussed the issues of holding the contest “Young Foresters”, the conference “The Future of Forests of Tatarstan is in our hands”, the ecological quest “Forest Pathfinders”, round tables for managers and curators of school forest districts, etc.
“The meeting will be held next week - from July 29 to July 31. I ask everyone to keep organizational issues under control. We must do everything possible to ensure that the children have only positive impressions of this event”, said First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov in conclusion.
The Third Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held on the basis of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College in Lubyany village of Kukmorskiy municipal district. 31 teams will compete for the title of the strongest, the total number of participants will be more than 120 people. It is expected that the entire gathering will bring together over 200 people. During the competition, contestants will have to demonstrate knowledge of the forest and its inhabitants, teamwork skills, orienteering in the forest, overcoming obstacles, forest valuation and extinguishing forest fires.
