The second day of the Third Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan had a rich program
Today, events within the framework of the 3rd Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan were organized in the premises of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College. One of them was a round table for managers and curators of school forest districts on topics “School forest districts as a model of pre-profile training and specialized education or an integrative system of additional environmental education in the context of a modern school” and “Prospects for development of school forest districts for 2020 - 2025”. Olga Avvakumova, Methodologist at the Republican Olympiad Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Aigul Mukhametshina, Associate Professor of the Department of Forestry and Forest Cultures of the Kazan State Agrarian University and heads of school forest districts spoke at the event.
Development of new educational programs for school forest districts, forms and methods of work with students were discussed at the round table.
Fascinating master-classes on fire extinguishing, basket weaving, woolen sketching, stone painting, etc. were held for pupils of school forest districts.
“I really like here, the program is interesting and rich”, said Ilzat Latipov, a member of the “Nurgali Onyklary” association of the Leskhoz Secondary Educational School of the Sabinskiy district, sharing his impressions. - The competition itself was rather complicated. For example, we studied some forest pests, and here there were others. In general, I am part of the school forestry for 5 years. I love the forest and everything connected with it”.
