Pupils of “Ak Kaen” school forest district continue their work during the summer holidays
Pupils of “Ak Kaen” school forest district of Secondary school No. 1 of Aznakayevo town of Aznakayevskiy municipal district continue to work during the summer holidays. Yesterday, on July 31, the children planted seedlings of thuja and Manchurian walnut on the school grounds.
“We have been growing seedlings of this nut in pots for a whole year, the children watched their condition with interest, said Aigul Dishina, the Head of the school forestry, Deputy Director for Educational Work. - We really hope that the seedlings will take root. In the fall we plan to do chestnut cultivation. In general, we carry out activities in different directions, study plants, animals living in forests, participate in cleaning up the territory of the forest fund and conduct environmental and educational activities”.
