A meeting on results of a recertification audit of forest management and internal supply chain was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the Ministry held a meeting on results of recertification audit of forest management and internal supply chain. The event was attended by the Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the RT Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, employees of the Ministry and Forest Certification OOO.
In the period from July 24 to August 1 of the current year, the experts of Forest Certification OOO conducted an audit of the compliance of the forest management and the internal supply chain in the Republic of Tatarstan with the requirements of the standard FSC-STD-RUS-V6-1-2012 (version 6-01, license code FSC -C120006). Specialists checked the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Isleitarskiy, Agryzskiy, Kamskiy, Zelenodolskiy, Privolzhskiy, Zainskiy, Aksubayevskiy, Leninogorskiy and Cheremshanskiy forest districts, as well as Isleitarskiy, Agryzskiy, Kamskiy, Zelenodolskiy, Privolzhskiy, Zainskiy, Aksubayevskiy, Leninogorskiy and Cheremshanskiy forestry enterprises.
During the meeting, its participants discussed the compliance of the activities of the Ministry and its subordinate institutions with the FSC standard (version 6-01, license code FSC-C120006) and the possibility of eliminating the identified shortcomings.
Let us recall that voluntary forest management certification is designed to increase the responsibility of forest management based on international standards.
