An Engineer of Prigorodnyi forest district gave a lecture for the participants of the Biosphere camp-school
Rustem Davletshin, an Engineer at the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodnyi Forest District”, gave a lecture on forest management and dendrology for participants of the Biosphere school camp at the Duslyk recreation and educational complex of the Republican Olympiad Center of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, Rustem Davletshin introduced the pupils to the basic terms and concepts of forestry, the work carried out to protect, conserve and reproduce forests. The specialist paid special attention to the role of the forest in human life, its most important environmental, economic and social functions and rules of behavior in the forest.
A practical lesson was also held. The guys learned how to use the measuring fork, altimeter and other forest tacking devices correctly.
Let us recall that the camp-school “Biosphere” began its work on July 25 and will continue until August 11 this year. 72 schoolchildren from all over the republic participate in the profile session. Students study ecology, forestry, soil science, hydrobiology and other industry sciences.
