The Ministry plans to complete the implementation of “From Paper to Digital” project in September
In September this year, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to complete the implementation of “From Paper to Digital” project on digitizing archival documents. Let us recall that this project is being implemented with a grant received for first place in the competition “The Best Archive of a Non-Profit Organization and Public Authority - a Source of Acquisition of the State (Municipal) Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan”. The competition was held by the RT State Committee for Archives in 2018.
“We completed the repair of the space allocated for the new archive, purchased the necessary equipment”, said Natalia Tyukayeva, Head of the Department of Organizational Work at the Ministry. - Currently, work is underway to digitize archival documents. So, today more than 30 thousand sheets have been digitized, and in total electronic copies of 178 thousand sheets have to be made. We plan to “open” a new archive for the Day of Forest Workers”.
