Stanislav Kozyrev, a student of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College, takes part in the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 World Championship in Professional Skills

Today the competitions of the 45th WorldSkills Kazan 2019 started at the Kazan Expo international exhibition center. More than 1.3 thousand competitors from 63 countries take part in the championship.

Participants compete in 56 competencies of the main list of WorldSkills International in the field of services, transport and logistics, industrial production, information technology, art and design, construction. A third-year student of Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College, Stanislav Kozyrev, is participating in the competition for the competence “Landscape Design” in the national team of the Russian Federation.

The first day of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 was accompanied by a busy business program. So, today the WorldSkills Conference 2019 “The World at Risk: Skills for Adaptation, Success and Prosperity in an Age of Change” and the meeting of the Summit of Ministers of WorldSkills member countries responsible for human capital development and training were held. The World Cup will be held in the capital of the republic until August 27.
