“Lesnoi dozor” information system was presented at the Ministry
Today, a presentation of the “Lesnoi dozor” information system was held at the Ministry. The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the RT Ilgizar Zaripov, employees of the Ministry, Commercial Director of “DCCon” LLC (Nizhny Novgorod) Sergey Kalyulin.
“Lesnoi dozor” IS - is a hardware-software complex for forest monitoring and early detection of forest fires. The system consists of two parts: hardware and software. The hardware includes intelligent sensors that are located on accessible high-rise buildings. The software part is a special software that allows to monitor forests and detect fires in automatic or manual mode.
Sergey Kalyulin spoke in detail about the key characteristics of the “Lesnoi dozor” IS and the advantages of its use. In particular, he said that according to the Federal State Statistics Service in the period 2010 - 2017, a decrease in the number of forest fires by 97% and the forest land area covered by forest fires by 99.99% was recorded in regions where such a system exists.
