A seminar-meeting devoted to forestry issues was held in Kaibitskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, a regional seminar-meeting dedicated to forest management was held in Kaibitskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, the Head of the Executive Committee of the municipal district Aleksey Makarov, the Director of the VNIIIL branch of the East European Forest Experimental Station Ainur Puryaev, employees of the Ministry, head-foresters of forest districts of Kaibitskiy, Buinskiy, Tetyushskiy, Privolzhskiy, Zelenodolskiy, Pivolzhskiy forest districts, as well as the directors of Buinskiy, Tetyushsky, Privolzhsky, Zelenodolskiy experimental, Educational and experimental Privolzhskiy and Kaibitskiy specialized seed forestry enterprises.
During the practical part of the seminar-meeting, its participants examined the basic forest nursery of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kaibitskiy Specialized Seed Forestry Enterprise”, seed plantations, experimental plots created under the guidance of German scientists, the forest genetic reserve of oak and linden covering an area of 843 hectares, evaluated the quality of oak planting in block 30 of Baltayevskiy district forestry and improvement cutting in quarter 51 of the Baltayevskiy district forestry.
The plenary meeting was held in the House of Culture of Fedorovskiy village. The keynote speaker was Ilgiz Khaffazov, Head-forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kaibitskiy Forest District”. During his speech, he acquainted those present with the results of work on forests conservation, protection and reproduction in 2019.
At the end of the meeting, the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the RT Ilgizar Zaripov announced the tasks for the coming period. So, he noted the need to complete work on agrotechnical care of forest crops, draw up acts of forest pathological examination, etc. “I also ask you to pay special attention to the quality of harvested seeds of the main forest-forming species and their storage technology”, Ilgizar Zaripov emphasized.
