The regions of Tatarstan sum up results of the activities of forest districts and forestry enterprises for 8 months of 2019
Meetings on results of the activities of subordinate institutions of the Ministry for 8 months of 2019 are held in the municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today, the Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rais Gumerov, took part in such meetings at the State Public Institution of the RT “Menzelinskiy Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the RT “Elabuzhskiy Forest District”.
At the meeting in the Menzelinsky municipal district, the keynote speaker was Ilnar Akhmetgaliyev, the Head-Forester of SPI of RT “Menzelinskiy Forest District”. He said that over the past period, reforestation on the area of 150 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops – on 1,057 hectares, and addition of forest crops - 246 hectares have been carried out on the territory of the forestry. Along with this, a forest pathological survey was conducted on the area of more than 2,000 hectares, improvement cutting of forest care - on 183 hectares. As part of ensuring fire safety in the forests, 30 km of new mineralized strips were created and the existing barriers with a total length of 320 km were maintained.
“Now our priority is harvesting of forest plant seeds. To date, the employees of the forestry enterprise have harvested 280 kilograms”, concluded Ilnar Akhmetgaliyev.
Summing up, Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov gave a positive assessment to the work of institutions and urged employees to strengthen control over the prevention and detection of violations of forest legislation.
At a meeting in Elabuzhskiy municipal district, Ramis Gilaziev, the Head-Forester of SPI of RT “Elabuzhskiy Forest District”, spoke about the work done in the field of forest conservation, protection and reproduction. Also within the framework of the meeting, tasks for the upcoming period were outlined.
