The autumn stage of the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” starts in the republic on September 16
On September 16, 2019, the autumn stage of the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” starts in the republic. The campaign will run until November 16. Within its framework, it is planned to clean the territory of the forest fund from municipal solid waste, felling, etc.
The Republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” has been carried out by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2010. Its main goal is to create a favorable sanitary and environmental situation in forests. The campaign takes place in all municipal districts of the republic. Its regular participants are employees of ministries, departments, institutions, organizations, enterprises, tenants of forest plots, representatives of horticultural partnerships, cooperatives, environmental associations, students of higher and secondary special educational institutions, volunteers.
This year, more than 9.7 thousand people joined the spring stage of the campaign. They managed to collect and export household waste and felled trees in the amount of 3.3 thousand cubic meters from the forest fund.
