Yesterday, on September 19, Lyudmila Zheltukhina, Deputy Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Alkeyevskiy Forest district”, visited Bazarno-Matakskaya Gymnasium named after Nabi Dauli of Alkeyevsky municipal district. There she conducted a lesson on topic “How to behave in the forest if you get lost” for pupils of the “Lesoviki” school forest district.
Lyudmila Zheltuhina elaborated on methods of orienting in the forest using a compass and navigation devices on trees, mosses, lichens, anthills and the Sun. Also, the Deputy Head-Forester talked about the rules that must be followed so as not to get lost in the forest and the procedure if this happened.
Along with this, the work plan of the “Lesoviki” school forest district for the 2019-2020 academic year was discussed at the meeting.
