Employees of the Prigorodnyi forest districts and the Forest Fire Center took part in cleaning the territory of Izumrudnoye Lake
Today, the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the final campaign within the framework of the project “Preservation of Unique Water Bodies” and the republican campaign “Clean Coast”. The event was also timed to coincide with the federal campaigns “Green Russia” and “General cleaning of the country”.
In Kazan, the central venue for the campaign was the territory of Izumrudnoye Lake. Its participants were more than 350 people - employees of ministries and departments of the republic, students of higher educational institutions, volunteers of the youth ecological movement “Will be clean” and the Russian Geographical Society. Representatives of the forestry sector also joined the cleaning of the territory - specialists of the State Public Institution of the RT “Prigorodnyi Forest District”, the State Budgetary Institution of the RT “Training and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forestry Enterprise” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”.
As part of the campaign, a separate collection of garbage and a quest were organized, the task was to collect the largest number of words. Participants received part of the words for the delivered rubbish, another - they searched on the territory of the lake thanks to the posted QR codes. At the end of the event prizes were presented.
