Forestry industry experts are working on improvement of forest fund as part of the “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” environmental campaign
Specialists of the forest industry of the Republic of Tatarstan are carrying out work on improvement of the forest fund as part of the environmental clean-up campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. So, from the start of the campaign, 7 new nameplates and information boards on fire and forest protection topics were installed in the territory of the Menzelinskiy forest district.
“Along with this, 4 arbors, the so-called resting places in the forest, and 5 nameplates were repaired”, said Aidar Khaliullin, Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinskiy Forestry Enterprise”. - The campaign has started recently, this work will continue. Also in the near future we will begin to harvest illiquid wood”.
The autumn stage of the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” started in the republic on September 16 this year. The campaign takes place in all municipal areas. Within its framework, work is underway to clean the territory of the forest fund from municipal solid waste, dead wood, improvement of springs, repair of arbors, nameplates and information boards in the forest, classes and environmental competitions for students of educational institutions.
