Employees of the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in a republican scientific and methodological seminar for geography teachers
Employees of the Federal Forestry Agency “Roslesozashchita” Branch - “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” took part in the republican scientific and methodological seminar for geography teachers. The event was held in the premises of Secondary school No. 4 of Zelenodolskiy district.
The Branch Director Nadezhda Kuzyakina and her Deputy, Venera Efremenkova, told the seminar participants about the activities of the RT Forest Protection Center. The participants were especially interested in topics about the features of forest growth in the republic, the main forest-forming species, and the sanitary and forest-pathological condition of forests. Along with this, the issue of interagency cooperation on the environmental education of schoolchildren through various forms of work was considered - lectures, tours, master classes, topical events.
As part of the seminar, an ecological quest was conducted for pupils of 5-6th grades. One of the stages was the “Forest Seed Station”, organized by the employees of the branch, where the guys determined the species of trees by seeds and the type of plants by leaves and shoots.
