A ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the Ministry held a traditional ministerial meeting led by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The meeting was attended by deputy ministers, heads and specialists of departments of the Ministry.
During the meeting, issues of forest cultivation, forest protection and forestry operations, state forest supervision, cleaning of the forest fund territory, development of the school forestry movement, development of the Geographic Information System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc. were discussed.
In particular, the Minister was told that last week the state forest inspectors of the republic conducted 400 patrols in the forests and compiled 23 protocols on administrative offenses. In particular, 4 facts of illegal felling of forest stands were revealed. In the framework of the Lesovoz operation 9 raids were carried out, 6 vehicles loaded with timber were inspected, no violations were detected.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuziurov gave a number of instructions regarding the execution of a state task to carry out a set of activities for the protection, conservation and reproduction of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan, preparations for the conference “Forest inventory and forest management for forest management and business”, etc.
