The All-Russian campaign “Forest of Victory” is gaining momentum in Tatarstan
The All-Russian campaign “Forest of Victory” is gaining momentum in the Republic of Tatarstan. The project, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, is being implemented by the All-Russian Ecological Public Movement “Green Russia”. The main goal of the campaign is to plant a tree in honor of each of the 27 million dead in World War II.
On October 2, 2019, the All-Russian campaign “Forest of Victory” was joined by the youth officers of the schools of the Tetyushi town together with representatives of the executive committee and the military commissariat. Children and adults planted 20 poplar seedlings in the northern district of the town.
“We took part in the campaign in order to remind people of the war, of the heroic deed of soldiers. We want it to never repeat again. And thanks to the trees that we planted, the town will be beautiful”, sisters Kristina and Nina Kuznetsova, pupils of the Tetyushskaya Tatar Secondary Educational School, shared their thoughts.
