More than 1,150 cubic meters of household waste, dead wood were exported from the republic’s forest fund as part of the “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” campaign
The environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. Over 1,150 cubic meters of solid municipal waste and deadwood have been collected and exported from the forest fund of the republic.
Also, as part of the campaign, forestry specialists landscaped 7 springs, repaired 36 nameplates, information boards and gazebos in the forest, and conducted classes in educational institutions.
“The leaders in the volume of garbage collected and other indicators are specialists from the Arskiy, Mamadyshskiy, Cheremshanskiy and Alkeyevskiy forestry enterprises”, said Alsu Mustafina, Head of the Forestry Protection Sector of the Ministry. – On October 19, we plan to hold a central event of the campaign. Near Kazan, forest cleaning will take place on the territory of the Stolbishchenskiy district forestry of Privolzhskiy forest district”.
The autumn stage of the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” started in the republic on September 16 and will last until November 16 of this year. The campaign takes place in all municipal districts. Among its regular participants are employees of institutions, organizations, enterprises, tenants of forest plots, representatives of horticultural partnerships, cooperatives, environmental associations, students of higher and secondary special educational institutions, volunteers.
