A ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, a ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry, at which the progress in execution of protocol orders was discussed. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by the deputy minister, executive officer, heads and specialists of structural departments of the Ministry.
During the meeting, issues of forest protection and forestry operations, development of estimated cutting area, state forest supervision, “Lesovoz” operational and preventive measures, development of the Geographic Information System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc. were discussed.
In particular, the Minister was told about the results of the Republican environmental campaign “Forest Week”, which was held from October 5 to 12, this year. So, as part of the campaign, more than 1.5 million pieces of planting material were planted on the area of more than 300 hectares, 60 lessons were held in general educational and pre-school institutions, 742 kg of seeds were harvested, and the territory of the forest fund was cleared on the area of 95 hectares. More than 20 thousand people joined the campaign.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov gave a number of instructions regarding work in the LesEGAIS system, ensuring fire safety in forests, increasing the number of school forest districts, etc.
