All-Russian campaign “Forest of Victory” is gaining strength in the republic
The All-Russian campaign “Forest of Victory” is gaining strength in Tatarstan. The project, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, is being implemented by the All-Russian Ecological Public Movement “Green Russia”. The main goal of the campaign is to plant a tree in honor of each of the 27 million dead in WWII.
Yesterday, on October 14, Leninogorsk police officers together with the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Leninogorskiy district Albert Osipov and veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs joined the All-Russian campaign “Forest of Victory”. Participants of the event planted registered pine seedlings on the territory of the district police station in memory of employees who died in the war.
It is worth noting that today as part of the project, more than 20 million trees have already been planted in the regions of the Russian Federation.
