Employees of Chatyr-Tau State Nature Reserve joined the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”

Employees of the Chatyr-Tau state nature reserve of regional importance of the integrated profile joined the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”. Specialists planted 10 thousand seedlings of pedunculate oak, small-leaved linden, Norway maple, Siberian larch, and ordinary pine on the territory of the reserve.

According to the Head of the nature reserve, Ilnaz Kashapov, these plantings will help to protect the soil from water and wind erosion.

The all-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” started on September 14 and will last until October 31 this year. The campaign is aimed at planting of about 30 million seedlings and plantings. The “green belt” of Russia will be replenished with young pines, spruce, larch, birch and other trees.
