A ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, a ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry, at which the progress of execution of protocol orders was examined. It was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by the deputy minister, executive officer, heads and specialists of structural departments of the Ministry.
During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of state forest supervision, implementation of the operational and preventive measures “Lesovoz”, development of the estimated cutting area, supply of wood to the republic’s enterprises, development of the Geographic Information System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, and others were discussed.
In particular, the Minister was told that according to the plan, work is underway to submit materials for participation in the All-Russian correspondence review-competition of school forest districts “Best School Forest District - 2019” and to increase the number of associations in the republic.
After listening to the reports, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov urged employees to strengthen control over the identification and prevention of violations of forest legislation. “Of course, we have a lot of problems, among which there are low penalties. It is necessary to work out concrete proposals to increase the effectiveness of state forest supervision”, the Minister emphasized.
Along with this, Ravil Kuzyurov dwelled on the issues of the republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” and elimination of unauthorized landfills on the territory of the republic’s forest fund. “Every year we carry out large-scale work on the cleaning of forests. Especially our forests are polluted along federal and regional roads. We need to strengthen the work on environmental education and public education”, he said.
At the end of the meeting, Ravil Kuzyurov gave a number of instructions concerning the laying of water-protective forest stands in municipal districts, activities of school forest districts and implementation of legislation of the Republic of Tatarstan on state languages.
