Employees of the Training and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forestry Enterprise held a master class on planting European spruce seedlings for pupils of the Kazan International School
Yesterday, on October 23, employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodnyi Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Training and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forestry Enterprise” met with pupils of the Kazan International School. The meeting was held at the forest nursery of the forestry enterprise, located on the territory of the Matyushinskiy district forestry.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Head of the basic forest nursery Lenar Kasimov and the Forest Master of the Matyushinskiy district forestry Regina Tuktarova conducted a workshop on planting seedlings. In total, 100 seedlings of European spruce were planted by foresters and schoolchildren in the school department of the nursery.
A lesson called “Make an influence!” was also held. Forestry experts told pupils about forestry in the Republic of Tatarstan, ongoing reforestation and afforestation, the ecological, economic and social functions of forests and the human impact on the environment.
