The Ministry discussed the issues of wood harvesting and supply to the Kastamonu woodworking plant

Today, the Ministry held a meeting on harvesting and supply of wood to the Kastamonu woodworking plant. It was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov, representative of the Board of Directors of Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry LLC Tayfik Dedebash, employees of the Ministry, etc.

Welcoming those present, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov said that this year the Ministry continued to work to increase the efficiency of timber harvesting. So, the fleet of forestry equipment of subordinate institutions was updated and FSC certification was successfully passed, which confirms the procurement of raw materials on the basis of international standards, environmental and social norms. “We are always ready to listen to your suggestions and take them into account”, the Minister said.

Further, the meeting participants discussed issues of harvesting, transportation of wood, pricing, etc.

The annual production of wood-based panels is 5 million m³, of laminated flooring - 70 million m². Kastamonu currently has 19 plants in 7 countries.
