Specialists of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bolgarskiy Forestry Enterprise” completed a series of autumn forest cultivation works
Specialists of SBI of RT “Bolgarskiy Forestry Enterprise” completed a series of autumn forestry works. So, work to supplement forest crops was carried out on the area of 70 hectares, soil preparation for crops of 2020 - on the area of 40 hectares.
“Along with this, we conducted an inventory of planting material in the basic forest nursery, said Khaidar Khabibullin, Director of the SBI of RT “Bolgarskiy Forestry Enterprise”. - This year, 234 thousand pieces of seedlings were grown, including pine - 156 thousand, birch - 52 thousand, ash - 13 thousand, oak - 7 thousand. This amount of planting material will be enough for reforestation and afforestation next year”.
According to the Director, currently, the forestry enterprise continues to harvest seeds of the main forest-forming species.
