Foresight session “The role of youth in implementation of the “Ecology” national project” was held in Mamadysh town. The event was organized by the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The session was attended by the Head of Mamadyshskiy municipal district Anatoly Ivanov, the Chairman of the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan Alla Abrosimova, the Leading Consultant of the Department of Forest Reproduction and Afforestation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Alsu Antonova, representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the RT State Committee for Biological Resources, and the Department of Rosprirodnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan, students of Mamadysh Polytechnic College and students of general educational institutions of the region.
During the meeting, areas of activity of the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, results of implementation of regional projects in the framework of the “Ecology” national project, as well as environmental problems of Mamadysh town were discussed.
Representatives of the young generation offered their solutions to improve the environmental situation. In particular, there were proposals on organization of a separate collection of municipal solid waste, cleaning the banks of the Vyatka River, etc.
