Today in Tatarstan, the regional championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) 2019-2020 has started. The championship will be held at 43 venues in 11 cities and villages of the republic in three stages: from November 13 to 15, from November 20 to 22 and from December 4 to 6. In total, competitions will be held in 96 competencies in age categories from 16 to 22 years, as well as in 66 “WorldSkills Juniors” competencies for competitors under the age of 16, in which 1,170 people will participate.
In Kazan, the competition is organized at three main venues: the Kazan Expo exhibition center, the Kazan Construction College and the Kazan College of Information Technologies and Communications. Second-year students of Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College - Nikita Kapustin and Anastasia Andreyeva will participate in “Landscape Design” competency at the Kazan Construction College.
“We are very zealous for the championship, the guys are giving all the best, said the Deputy Director for Administrative Work of the college, Nail Serazetdinov. - Five teams of 2 people each compete in this competency. We hope for good results”.
According to the results of the championship, composition of the Tatarstan professional skills team according to the WorldSkills standard will be formed from the best participants in the competition, which should be presented in the semifinals and finals of the VIII WorldSkills Russia Championship in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region.
