The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. Let us recall that it took place from September 16 to November 16, 2019.
Within the framework of the campaign, the territory of the forest fund was cleaned, as well as nameplates, information boards and recreation places in the forest were repaired and arranged. More than 7 thousand people joined the campaign, 1.6 thousand cubic meters of solid municipal waste, dead wood and fallen trees were collected and removed from the forest fund.
The Republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” has been carried out by the Ministry since 2010. Its main goal is to create a favorable sanitary and environmental situation in the forests. The campaign is held in all municipal districts of the republic, regular participants are employees of ministries, departments, institutions, organizations, enterprises, tenants of forest plots, representatives of horticultural associations, environmental associations, students of higher and secondary special educational institutions, volunteers.
