Seminar-meeting devoted to the International Anti-Corruption Day was held at State Public Institution “Cheremshanskiy Forest District” and State Budgetary Institution “Cheremshanskiy Forestry Enterprise”

SPI “Cheremshanskiy Forest District” and SBI “Cheremshanskiy Forestry Enterprise” held a seminar-meeting devoted to the International Anti-Corruption Day. Participants of the event discussed the most pressing issues of protection and methods of combating corruption, rights and obligations of citizens in situations related to corruption manifestation.

This date is celebrated annually on December 9th. On this day in 2003, the UN Convention against Corruption was opened for signature. The document obliges the signatory states to criminalize bribes, embezzlement of budget funds and laundering of corruption proceeds. Russia was among the first countries to sign the Convention.
