In the Republic of Tatarstan, work is continuing to improve the sanitary condition of forest stands. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of December 4 this year sanitary and health measures were carried out on the area of more than 4 thousand hectares. Among the leaders in terms of the volume of work are employees of the Training and Experimental Sabinskiy, Kaibitskiy, Aznakayevskiy and Mamadyshskiy forestry enterprises of the republic.
Since the beginning of the year, forest pathological examination of forest stands has been completed on the area of more than 42.5 thousand ha.
For reference. Sanitary measures are part of a set of forest protection measures. They are carried out in order to preserve the biological stability of the stands, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and reduce damage from pests and diseases.
Forest pathological examination is carried out in order to determine the current sanitary and forest pathological condition of forests and preparation of the necessary documentation for sanitary and recreational activities.
