Ravil Kuzyurov took part in the meeting of the Commission for Coordination of Work on Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the Kazan Kremlin hosted an expanded meeting of the Commission for Coordination of Work on Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Mintimer Shaimiyev, State Counselor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of ministries and departments of the republic, including from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov took part in the meeting.
Opening the meeting, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan was among the first regions to counter systemic measures against corruption. “A key element is ensuring the rule of law. Everyone should start with himself and consistently work in this direction”, he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that the Commission was considering the issue of increasing the effectiveness of anti-corruption work, taking into account the results of sociological studies. Surveys of the population on topic of corruption have been conducted in the republic since 2006. According to their results, the population estimates the level of corruption in the republic as average and does not distinguish it from other constituent entities of the Russian Federation. “However, this does not give reason for complacency. Tatarstan implements large-scale programs aimed at developing the economy and improving the living standards of the population. We take an active part in national projects, do not slow down the process of attracting investment. This activity is impossible without ensuring transparent and understandable business rules, as well as effective management”, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized.
Further, representatives of the prosecutor's office, universities and relevant ministries reported on implementation of measures to reduce corruption risks in areas of responsibility.
It should be noted that in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, work in the field of combating corruption is carried out in accordance with the state program “Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015-2022”. Thus, the activities of the Commission under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan on combating corruption and the Commission of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan on compliance with the official conduct of civil servants of the Republic of Tatarstan and the settlement of conflicts of interest were organized.
During the year, work was carried out to verify the accuracy, completeness of the information provided by state civil servants on income, expenses, property and property obligations, as well as income, expenses, property and property obligations of their spouses and minor children, placement draft regulatory legal acts for conducting an independent anti-corruption examination, an online public opinion poll on the state of corruption in the Ministry, etc.
