Yesterday, on December 20, the Ministry completed a series of seminars and meetings on implementation of federal state forest supervision (forest protection) in the territory of the forest fund of the republic. The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, head-foresters, their deputies, forest conservation and protection engineers, local foresters from the Bolgarskiy, Buinskiy, Kaibitskiy, Privolzhskiy and Tetyushskiy forest districts.
The seminar was held by the Head of the State Control and Supervision Department of the Ministry Airat Akhmerov. He spoke about the peculiarities of conducting scheduled and unscheduled, documentary and field inspections, control measures in the forests (patrolling and planned (raid) inspections, examinations), the rules for issuing warnings about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements and requirements established by municipal legal acts, drawing up acts on forest violations and protocols on administrative offenses.
Also within the framework of the event, issues of the operational-preventive event “Yel” were discussed. Airat Akhmerov said that this year more than 140 mobile patrol groups have been created from among forestry officers and territorial departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan. “We are passing to enhanced mode of operation till December 31, - he added. – We should do everything possible to prevent illegal logging of coniferous stands”.
