“Yel” Operation continues in Tatarstan

“Yel” Operation continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. Within its framework, state forest inspectors of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bolgarskiy Forest District” revealed the fact of illegal logging in Spasskiy district forestry. “With support of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Spasskiy district, a citizen’s identity was established, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up, said forester Dmitry Zarifullin. - The damage to the forest fund is estimated at 534 rubles”.

Also, the fact of illegal cutting of forest stands was recorded by employees of the SPI of RT “Elabuzhskiy Forest District”. “The amount of damage amounted to 1,666 rubles, said forester Ramis Gilaziyev. - In our forest areas, 8 mobile patrol groups from among the employees of the forestry and the territorial department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conduct  patrolling”.

Employees of the SPI of RT “Tetyushskiy Forest District” revealed the illegal collection of coniferous paws in the territory of the Klyarinskiy district forestry.

Let us recall that illegal logging, damage to forest stands entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of from 3 to 4 thousand rubles, on officials - from 20 to 40 thousand rubles, on legal entities - from 200 to 300 thousand rubles. In addition, the person who has committed illegal logging will have to compensate for damage caused to forests, which depends on the species of the felled tree and its place of growth, and the category of forest protection.
